The name Autodata derives from the phrase "auto data", meaning self-produced content. Over 2,00,000 articles have been created! All these articles are connected to a single Article Database which is free for everyone to use. The platform for this type of user-generated content is called the "AutoWikiProject" and it consists of user-generated "articles" in a variety of languages.
